I'm happy because I just came up with an idea for a forum game that I don't think's been done before, but also sad that it would probably end in flames if I tried it.
I'll support it!
No, it's flame bait central. The idea would be a thread where we all take other users and ascribe a number of tropes to them, and who's standing list could then be added to/removed from by someone else, although I'd prevent troping yourself since that would be easy egobait as well as flame bait. Sort of a Community Troping Thread. I've never seen somthing like that done before (although given how popular TvTropes is now, it wouldn't suprise me if someone else had). I'm just happy to have had the idea, even though implimenting it would end bady.

It has been done before, actually, and there was no flaming.

I'll support this, and happily be troped, good or bad (probably mostly bad.)

Yeah. But everyone just repeated chin of manliness for Aqizzar over and over again and it got boring.

Meh.  I think it'd be neat, but I, too, think the fun would be short-lived.

Which is why I'm not going to do it. Just a bad idea all around, now that I think more on it.

The problem was that half of the posts were directed at all of five people, and the other half were people poking in just to request that someone do a description for them.

Why don't we make a TvTropes page for Bay12ers, and do this there? That way everyone can edit, and nothing gets repeated.

Alright, now I'm regreting letting the idea out of the bag. It's a really stupid thing to have came up with on my part, and we should just drop it, ok?
