Does it say "FU_CK" under the ammo check for the Revolving Skate?

Also, this is neat.
That is pretty cool. Like 'Powers of Ten' only interactive.

And am I the only one who thinks that 'quantum foam' would make for some awesome technobabble?

A trope mention of "Operation: Ram's Head" made me want to play X-Wing again. I forgot how badass those games were.

"Operation: Ram's Head" Cutscene (X-Wing: B-Wing Expansion Pack Mission):
Video

Fuck yes, thank you Happy Thread.  God did I love those games.  I haven't played either one in eons, because TIE Fighter doesn't like post-95 OS, and I don't have a joystick.  But they were the duel epitome of good game design, for flight sims and games in general.  Absolutely perfect in every regard (except maybe all the time you spend in TIE Fighter killing other Imperials, but even that makes sense when you think about it).  Damn, do I want to play those games again.

Well, DOSBox is always a viable solution, and there should be some cheap controllers with enough buttons to make the games playable.

If not using DOSBox, these links should help:
Link 1, Link 2

I got Tie Fighter to work (CD Collector's Edition) outside DOSBox, but it lacks music for some reason during combat.

For some reason high school students get free tickets to the orchestra.

Awesome.

In keeping with celebrating that Halloween is up-coming, I started watching Hellsing Ultimate for the first time today. Most fucking brutal anime I have ever seen, sans the occasional lapse into... well, anime silliness. And this makes me extremely happy, watching a bunch of hapless vampires, ghouls, and the occasional poor soldier get utterly brutalized by Alucard as he shows off exactly how amoral and sadistic he really is... ah, brings a tear of joy to my eye.

The one in OVA 4? Already seen that, that was a beautiful scene.
