LMFAO!!!! Listening to NPR, Secretary of Transportation was on talking about how he was trying to get cell phone talking while driving banned nationwide. Last caller to call in was very audibly driving his car (by the volume of car-noise, likely down the highway) while he made the call, and the Secretary of Transportation flipped out and didn't let him speak. XD

Lol @ NPR trolling

I lol at NPR trolling indeed.

"All right caller, you're on the air in five, four.."

*roll down window*

"Yeah so I've got to disagree with you about people not being able to talk while driving..."

Possibly because in the current economic climate having a job interview is a good thing

Suddenly, I have realized that it is October.  Hurray!

In retrospect, I'm a little bit late, but at least it's nice to know which month it is.

Yay! The NPR interview is up! http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=130837430&ft=1&f=5

It isn't trolling so much because it is illegal (chances are it wasn't where he was driving), but because LaHood was so empassioned about it in the previous several minutes and how dangerous he says it is and how it needs to be banned RIGHT NOW. Driver call @ about 11 minutes, although listening to the whole thing puts it in context.

Damn you, page, for cutting off other people's replies.

Uh... I'm also happy because I mostly understand the Dedekind-Macneille completion, which is a fairly honking big deal.

Hell yes, haven't been around for half a week due to my computer being in the shop BUT IT IS BACK!!! What the issue was exactly neither of us can figure out, all we know is that some Windows repair program he used fixed it. The problem basically was on start up at the Windows loading screen (XP) it would blue screen.

My head is filled to the brim with hexadecimal. I have spent the past few hours plugging in dozens of wires, writing a page of what should have been gibberish, and watching the blinking of lights.

And it was amazing. This has been a fun class, but something just clicked today in lab. I understand it. I understand ALL of it. The numbers bend to my will, the code is clear as simple words, and binary is nothing more than another tool to be used to master the data I command. I need no Deus Ex Machina, no god from the machine. I am god OF the machine!!!
