Happy: just tried my wireless mouse on Arch. Didn't have to do a thing to make it work. I thoroughly expected to have to make at least a small tweak somewhere.

Anyway, it's giving be a boot failure, so I'm going to try and install Ubuntu and use that to burn a working Arch disk because ye gods, if I wanted a mac, I'd go out and buy a mac.

The dialog is awesome. You should feel bad for saying it like that when the dialog is a big reason I loved what I played so much. Especially since I can't play it and you can mean squid squid!

Made it to the end of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Already got the bad (normal-ish) end; and thanks to a game mechanic I recalled earlier, I found a way to avoid the bad end, and continue to the real ending(s) of the game (just another 5% to go. Not much else aside monster/treasure hunting (and trying to gain another 250000 gold for the Soul Eater Ring (Mimic Soul and Gold Ring + falling in spikes for 15-30 mins., with a nearby save point are a great help here; of course, provided those damn Medusa Heads stay out my way); plus, the other boss fight (canonically the right one to fight) was more fun than the initial one I had to avoid). Onwards to the good ending tomorrow. And hopefully, I should be able to 100% and get the best ending before Halloween.

EDIT:
Oh, right. I'm also at lvl. 47 while at it (I want the final battles to be pretty fun). No way I'm going to make my guy godlike just yet. It'll make Boss Rush boring. I'll have a low-level rush save along with lvl. 99 (or significantly high enough) for kicks. Of course, I'll try to win Boss Rush with the low level first; get the good loot early after finishing the game once (since I might try to beat the game again in Hard Mode).
