I am happy because I'm reading the 'Kingdom Come' LP, and it is fantastic. My favorite part of the Crusader Kings section was when Girard I dueled his rival, Girard I, to the death.

I thought that part was a bit sad, considering it left their third mutual rival, Girard I, without anyone to fight in an honor duel.

I'm reading it now, too, I just had a laugh at the blind spymaster.

Meh, it's mostly not visible when shrunk to avatar size. Had to go overboard to make it show up at all.

PS is giving me some crap with mine as well. On the bright side, I managed to make a slower version of my current avatar while still under the 500-frame limit.

Getting the other one is giving me weird errors.

Something that's been bothering me about Photoshop. When converting for web, is there a way to break the preview process, or prevent it from starting unless I want it to? I can't seem to find info on it anywhere, and it would be great help.

New version (new avatar for now). Now at 457 frames total, instead of 7/8 that (I think).

Old avatar (smaller and faster, apparently) 296 frames.

Happy Fractal-ween (until I get things patched up, this'll have to do for now. (295-frames)

The new one I'm working on (or trying to get done) is supposed to be like the update to this minor adjustment. For smoothness sake, of course.

Okay, it seems hitting ESC seems to be of great help (and work better in CS5 than I thought). Anyways, here's the improved avatar fractal-ween.

The GIMP is pretty nice for selections and filters. Ghooooostly me only took me ten minutes or so.

I am fairly certain it is my fault, it is not letting me use colors, the only thing I can get it to do is a dark gray.

Regarding GIF animations --
If you want it slowed down, change the frame display time, don't duplicate frames.
My banner displays a single frame for every half-second.

To do this, use the Mirosoft GIF Animator.

Gimp also does that automatically for you if you stack them.

Also why 4? There are no other Jaybuds on this forum.

Edit: Do you think I turned the tolerances up too high when I was putting in the orange?

Actually, my avatar is going 8x speed, so every 8 frames have been picked up for motion from the movie. It was processed through Photoshop. I like using PS for GIFs because it helps for editing and also reducing/enlarging them with more control. Plus, PS has a 500-frame limit; so I either have to crop scenes, or make them go fast-forward. To merge to something larger would be a royal pain, and also possibly beyond PS's limits of processing.

Plus, I think the cause of my earlier errors was due to a lack of available memory.
