Also, I'm probably going to do a Let's Play of Freedroid RPG at some nearby point in time. I need a screen recorder that doesn't lag the hell out of my computer... Gmod again.
Having no idea what I was doing, I used a large number of abs, neg, and add gates to create xor gates.
Then I linked these together to form more clusters of simple gates that could've used xor gates.
The end result was a ball of of death constructed entirely of gates, turrets, and rangers.

I told you man. I told you about gates.
Seriously, just go through every gate tool and read them all. And then learn E2, and then check out my exploding crowbar/infinite ammo/superspeed/antifall device. And the chip that makes every NPC that gets within range explode. And the automated airplane.

I made a ball of death AND experimented around with basic arithmetic.
In hindsight, I should've attached the whole complex to a rollermine.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can. I've done some experimentation with NPCs and such, really the only thing you can do is use ropes to attatch a KeepUpright+0Gravity plate to some scanners and TRY to use NPC functions to command them. Doesn't even work.

Anyway, I repeated the experiment using xor gates and it uses about half as many.
Except this time, I put them on a door.

What does the door do? It better involve either killing NPCs or building impenetrable forts to kill NPCs from.

Stand on one side, spam spawn zombies, and watch the mayhem.
And a simple remotely controlled machine gun turret.
Which isn't nearly as fun as watching medics try to heal you, only to get shot by about twenty shotguns lining a doorframe.
