Ahh... FF.

I wonder what happened after FFX?  It seems like the games have gotten kind of... not as good.

From X and on they decided that having a world you can relate to at all was not good storytelling, so they made as far out of a culture and political system as possible with dozens of historical people they reference, everything of which has a silly name. All of this is described either by having a clueless protagonist(Tidus) or just give them a game manual you have to read to understand what the heck is going on. Also exploration is apparently bad as well as a combat system that does not have some shiny thing in every possible space of the screen.

Just... lots of failed stuff from previous games piling up for some odd reason.

Found out I did quite well on a physics quiz today too.  It's like someone's passing out good grades like cheap cigars out here.

Also my math prof is the best.  He lectures in monotone, but still manages to be ridiculously witty.  It's hilarious.  I'm excited for next semester, too, I may end up taking my first upper division math course then.  And it's taught by the Associate Head of the math department.  I just can't wait to something above semi-introductory classes.

And it's called Intro to Modern Algebra, so I can go around telling people I'm taking algebra and they won't look twice.  Little do they know...

All in all, a great day.

Ah Kitchen fires. We had one once. We forgot there where pizza boxes from the night before in the oven and turned it on. The things lit up fast. My mother tryed filling up some cups with water as fast as possible to put it out. I just grabbed the sprayer on the sink and let it loose.
