I just saw the trailer for Bioshock Infinite. I kind of liked the first Bioshock before it got boring. I hated Bioshock 2. But this? I might just be willing to give that a shot.

Oh, it's that guy!

Clearly, you and I are now number-buddies.  Could almost say that we're... friendly.

Yes, numbers. Yes, beautiful. Though I must admit I prefer algorithms. An elegant piece of math, while interesting, is just numbers. An elegant algorithm is both beautiful and useful.

I'm pretty sure people go around finding applications for pure maths solely to annoy mathematicians.

That's an entirely inappropriate nickname and I don't know where it came from.

Yeah, apparently string theory came from one such adventure... there was like a "physicist's group to piss off pure math people" at some point.

Jews have this annual memorial for everyone who's passed away, and today it was my grandfather's memorial. Visiting his grave and all was pretty sad, but later we all met at my grandmother's house, had dinner, and met some folks I haven't seen for quite a while. She invited some relatives over I didn't even know existed (Apparently my great uncle has another daughter, who knew?), some Italians that I was sure still lived in Italy, and other people I haven't met in ages. It was really cool, but it's too bad we get to see these guys at memorials only.
