In an effort to help me just enjoy what I enjoy Eva got me to put my books actually in my bookshelf. Which were mostly gifts to help me recover from an injury. Only thing is I was too self conscious to read pretty much any of them. So last night we put them in my bookshelf and I was gonna start reading them.
Then I found my gifted books added up to a lot! I seem to have parts of series and lots of little individual books.
So then I felt overwhelmed. So I asked Eva to pick out a few that seemed to be parts of series that I also had other parts of. This is what she gave me.
A song of ice and fire (She recoginzed this one since her cousin liked it. Though she said it's pretty grim. I seem to have two in this series.)
Wheel of time (I recognize this name but I don't know why I do. I appear to have 3 in this series.)
Dragonlance - Elven nations trilogy (She pointed it out because it seemed to involve elves. I have the whole thing and they are in similar condition. I probably got given this as a set.)
FR - legacy of the drow, lost empires, starlight and shadows, icewind dale trilogy. (I have just one or two of these each. But they're part of a brand so she listed them.)
Harry potter (I already read the first book in this series. Yes I know it's considered kiddy but I like it.)
Wildcards (She pointed this out since it shares authors with A song of ice and fire. I have two of them, though they seem out of order.)
Horseclans (She thought the name was funny. But I only have one.)
Thieves world (Mentioned for the name again. I only have one but it appears to be the first one.)
Sword of truth (Two of these and out of order.)
Amber (Three of these. Similar condition and probally bought as a set too. Is this a trilogy too?)
Earthsea (Just one. But I pointed it out since I remember someone mentioning it here.)
Those are the ones that stuck out for her. Does anyone know any of them too much in particular? I want to read something just I don't know where to start. I guess when people are trying to help you out with something involving reading you get a lot of book gifts... I think I was getting these till the early 2000s even.
