In a country in Europe, the name of which I have no desire to call to mind, there was some kind of military celebration today. At one point, the TV commenter stated "Now arrives the flower offering to mourn our servicemen fallen in act of service, whom will afterwards follow in group".

(For the record, the commenter, blundered, the ones who followed afterwards in a group were those servicemen's relatives, not the actual fallen soldiers. A zombie parade would have been cool nonetheless.)

On the subject of what made me happy today: It's my birthday, I just got a 20" flatscreen LCD monitor, my resolution now goes to 1600 X 900, I read through the most recent posts in this thread and realized Ein is awesome, and it's lasagna for dinner tonight. Oh, and Border of Extacy. Today is a beautiful thing.
