Just got back from my sister's wedding. It was definitely fun. I haven't drank that much (and sobered up so quickly) in a single day in ages. And at least 5 different types of drinks too (from beer to fine chardonnay and champagne, a Merlot and some Cabernet; 2 drinks min. each; full glasses (in their respective cup type); all that was missing was some whiskey and vodka, and I'd be sold. Grand total, if I recall has to be roughly 12 drinks (excluding water and coffee)). Whoof. I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight; and maybe sweat alcohol for a duration of tomorrow.
EDIT:
I'll give my body a badass build award if I wake up sans hangover, and good for church tomorrow morning.
Oh, and it took me at least 4 coffees and plenty of water just to neutralize half of my drunkedness tonight too (fortunately, I'm not your common asshole drunk, or wild partier drunk; plus it was mostly because apparently I was the DD for the night for my group, and I was already too drunk when I got the news. Communication is not my family's strong suit.). Fortunately, my circadian rhythm has also been reset. I should be able to sleep properly in an hour at least.
EDIT EDIT:
If I recall correctly, I seem to have been one hell of a social person. I mean, I provided some interesting food for thought to a good handful of people (family friends to in-laws), made some inspiring thoughts based on my past experiences that in a way opened some minds, and heck, I managed to get on the good side of someone that apparently was difficult to talk to in moments (and was told after the fact). Apparently, I'm one hell of a communicator with enough drinks in me. When sober, I'm normally close to opposite.
I wonder how I would be as a salesman after enough drinks?
I suppose a good summary could be that I came off as a chessmaster/mad scientist/mastermind kind of person after maybe my 6th drink. More accurately, I think I was just more observant than usual.
