Dude, political campaigns are following fads.

This is either really awesome or really sad if you think about it.  Probably both.

Sad, probably. We had one of our politicians pull a 'Beached Whale' line in the middle of a somethingsomething.

Ugh. Tired.

Dangerous? Are you plotting heinous acts, or what?
Yes. But more that it was dangerous to me if anyone else found it, and dangerous to anyone else who purposely tried to look for it.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Mostly sad. It might be good if he at least didn't look like he could get beat up by a squirrel. Its like taking a Chuck Norris film, replacing chuck norris with a fat, balding guy with a tendancy of picking his nose. He could do all the same actions through movie magic, but in the end, he would never have jokes about how awesome he is make it into barrens chat.

Yes. But more that it was dangerous to me if anyone else found it, and dangerous to anyone else who purposely tried to look for it.
You're planning to erect a statue of Cthulu, aren't you.

Sent an application and they asked if I could interview an hour and a half later. We shall see if I have what it takes to make pizza.

Happy B-Day, CoF!

Lunch with my mom this afternoon. She spent an hour or so playing with my cat, and had the time of her life. She also brought me more apples, and some ingredients for baking stuff.

I have no idea what to use Pineapple Juice for though, other than maybe drinking.

Regarding the Slaves to Armok shenanigans - it's the exact same thing Toady did with Various Nonsense, and for exactly the same reason might I add.  He locked the whole subgroup, and some people can see it, some can't.  There, I hope you're all happy - if anyone ever has a legitimate question about Armok 1, like that awesome sounds and music thread, they're fucked.  Because of you.

On to other news - I love oatmeal.

Huh... really?  I haven't been following it recently (read: for ages, and I don't think I've ever posted there) but the stuff that's left doesn't look that harmful...

See, this is exactly the problem with having an infamous presence with the same name as a beloved game-concept.  I've long been surprised that this doesn't cause more confusion.

Wait what?

I thought it was locked because it was obsolete and old, or something. What happened?

Usually it went something like this -

Some Guy, circa 2001: Hey look at my post, the forum works!
Toady One, circa 2001: Yeah, isn't it awesome?  Just wait until I start making games!
Shitposter, circa 2010: Holy crap, look at this incredibly old thread I posted in! LOLOLOLOLOL
Wanker, circa 2010: Man, Toady used to be so funny when he posted in threads and stuff.
Don Quixote, circa 2010: Dammit guys, why do you keep dragging up these old threads?
Shitposter, circa 2010: Because LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

And that's why it got locked.  It got a new round of such bullshit over the past month or so, which Toady apparently deleted all of before locking it.

My favorite character was Don Quixote, such a good post.  Worth a read sometime.
