Casual chat with monseignor after Mass today. He got a little un-priestly when he called me a hairy Italian fuck ( :-* Clint E. dawg). He gave me a noogie when I called him a heathenistic sodomite. Great fun. Me and some other guys didn't stay for the last song after Communion. Instead we climbed onto the roof of the Church and surprised our families and girlfriends and their families. Singing and dancing to YMCA on the roof of a church = the best way to start a Sunday.

Just found out that the guys who started Talk Like a Pirate Day are from Oregon, Oregon really has invented something after all.

Our priest is a really young dude, and we are relatively liberal. For us it isn't this big sacred institution of rules and commands and the hierarchy with the Pope and that. It's suggestions on better living, tainted by historical context, that we should learn from and improve on. It's a chill congregation.
