I just got an email from my Classics teacher, who is major OCD about helping students understand ancient greek texts. I don't know why, but his 4 paragraph discourse on the subject of "read 22 pages, please" made me super happy.

Motherfucking holiday weekend.  I don't have to do shit for like 27 hours.  Well, I'm supposed to catch up on my reading, and write a letter, and another letter, and shit like that.

I'm happy that I'm almost done with my LP. Another update or so and it'll be done.

In a weird, sadomasochistic way though, I'm tempted to just abandon it RIGHT before I hit the YOUR ARE WINNER screen, so that I can forever say that I'm wallowing in self-pity and dragging my total 3-5 fans down with me.

Now, I won't do that, just tempted.

I just realized today, this is one of the first holiday weekends/seasons I'll truly get to enjoy, instead of having to deal with annoying-ass customers (be it serving them, or cleaning up after them for the weekend) in at least a good couple years.
