Found out that I'm a candidate for having my security clearance upgraded. Higher clearance is always good.

Maybe someday they'll let me <REDACTED> the <REDACTED> in the <REDACTED>.

I'm glad that some recent inspiration has caused me to start fantasizing on an old daydream I thought I've long since abandoned. The story that the daydream entails has been made much longer, and more grand than ever.

It may not seem like much to those with more developed social lives, but developing and nurturing my imaginary stories is a favorite pastime of mine, one I enjoy doling many hours into.

That said, the probability of my getting to join the ranks of the priests is fairly low, given my distinct lack of noble heritage.  The most probable ending (though one I don't like contemplating) is that I'd end up considered mentally ill, a witch, or both.[/spoiler]
The best job for an intelligent individual during the medieval era seems to be that of a village fool. You're free to use sarcasm and witty commentary of current situation, while not being required to do anyting else, like work the fields. You even get free food from the compassionate villagers. And the less you know medieval dialects the better. You should be babbling after all.
I don't know if the position was ever open to women, though.

Yeah, exactly.  This is why I try to assume I'm a dude first in these things, because it just isn't much fun if I'm trying to be a female member of medieval European society.

Best bet for you would probably be to find a philosopher/mathematician. As long as the time period wasn't TOO far back you could probably cause a paradox by teaching them math. Wouldn't get any credit in the history books though.

First rain in like a month, or even more, i don't remember, temperatures have dropped to ones that support human life, but the rain is a double edged blade, now i can't go out, or better yet, i would love to go out while it rains but no one else wants to :(

Showers are nice.

I'd rather be a courtly fool than the village one. The lord's only reliable voice and truth-teller, often his only real friend, and allowed to criticize and say whatever I want as long as I do it witty enough, or just make it a riddle.
Though, since all my wit seems to produce is crude sex jokes, I might end up beheaded instead.  :-[
