Well, over the vacation time, we did a bit of League of Legends, some Soldat, and a good amount of board and card games. And among the mayhem, we did a bit of swimming. It was fun. We also got to watch some movies. Among them was a fan remake of Star Wars: A New Hope. Think of it like the Special Editions, except done right. And we also got to watch a few episodes or gag reels of Whose Line is it Anyway?. Freaking funny as hell.
After that, I visited my dad, and hung out for about a day and a half (had to leave early to dodge traffic, almost literally). Did some debugging, cleaning out malware from his household machines, and played a few games over there as well. Nice to catch up and keep a promise of visiting, and should be able to guarantee more visiting since I'm leaving my job anyhow. And apparently, even though I rejected initially, I got paid 80 bucks for fixing things with the computers and tightening up the network security. Lame as it sounds, the fact that I got to make the machines work as they were supposed to, and have more proper security, felt enough of a reward, and it was unnecessary to pay me. Oh well, on the bright side, it makes up for the missing hours for this week's work which [sarcasm]I am looking forward to doing tomorrow morning.[/sarcasm]
Oh, that reminds me, I gotta collect my paycheck with the additional vacation hours tomorrow. I hope it's generous enough, seeing as I claimed it between both of my peak seasons hour-wise. I mean, the average of the past 52 weeks hourly seems to be how the vacation pay works out. If that's the case, then I can't wait to collect it. I can use all the financial support I can get; because I intend to give my 2-weeks notice rather soon. Next week at the earliest. Which reminds me, I should have minimal-to-no interference plan-wise to get the freelancing in full-gear. I'm gonna ask my sisters for some business advice, seeing as they have more experience in that field than I do. Oh yeah, and I got to catch Inception with my dad, in an IMAX theatre. That was pretty awesome.
Oh, and as annoying as it was to return to my room with 2 spiders giving me the good ol' welcome home; I got to smash them both while I still had the chance.
