I waited until it was steaming hot, then contorted my crotch under the running water. Some natural impulse kept forcing me to take it out after five seconds

It's called "pain."  Oh well, Darwin strikes again.

It's not pain, since I can get that level of pain through other methods and still ignore it if need be. I was noting that there was something else besides.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

Yeah, it was more pain from different nerves, as your nuts shut down from the heat.

Man, I didn't even realize before reading this thread, but as awkward as midday-boners and body odor and voice cracking and stuff was at the time, I really don't think about puberty at all anymore.  As far as my brain seems to be concerned, my life started at 17, and everything before that is an indistinct blur, unless I go out of my way to remember it.

I actually think I didn't have puberty. Hormonal issues.

What? Do you not menstruate?

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

It's not really an issue anymore given my body might of gone under the changes but I can't menstruate anymore anyway. Stuff got gutted because things were growing there and they thought it was cancer years ago.

I didn't get any taller, but I got enough hair to make up for it.

My face got a lot bonier and I gained a couple of ranks in pretending I have body fat.

Puberty for me was boners and armpit hair. Really heavy armpit hair.

Puberty for me was "kickass, I have arm hairs now."
Keep in mind, that's arm hairs, not armpit hairs.
I'm cool with them though, they're thin enough that I don't need to trim them to keep BO down.

The entire Adventure Guy thread devolved into madness because of this post. Then Retro posted and it all went back to normal.

It was freaking hilarious though.
