A few weeks ago, I bought a DVI-to-HDMI cable from The Source. It was ridiculously overpriced (some $58) but whatever, I couldn't find one any cheaper locally, so I buy it. Days later, on Amazon.ca, I find a similar DVI-to-HDMI cable priced at a mere $2.99 (+~$5 shipping). An obvious steal -- I order it almost immediately.

The Amazon cable arrived a few days ago. I compared the picture quality of the two, and as expected, they were identical (digital signals are great). So I returned the overpriced cables and now have a spare $50 lying around.
