Got woken up at 8am.
Asked if woken up too early.

I didn't sleep at all and "woke up" at 7:20 with the excuse "the dog licked my feet."
Which was true, and it is something that will wake me up, but whatever.

My son had his 4-month checkup and passed with flying colors. And we received confirmation that, yes, he's bordering on freaky-big. Or as the pediatrician put it, "He's big, but not endocrine-problem big."

Last night at 4am: Banging on my wall from the room beside me. Not like, "lawls wake up idiot" banging or "I like hitting walls" banging, but frantic, semi-panicked banging. I wake from my still-kinda-drunk sleep, get up and go into the hall and knock on the door beside mine to see what's up. My friend starts panicking really loud about how the door's stuck and she and her boyfriend can't get out. It's not locked or anything. I turn on the hall light, and it looks like it was stuck halfway between being open and completely shut. The door wasn't stuck from being locked, it was physically wedged into the doorframe. We try pushing for a while and can't get it lose - this thing is seriously wedged in, we have no tools in the house to speak of, and we needed to get them out. So I say to stand back and move to the side. KICK, KICK, KICKBAM. Off the hinges it goes. My friends are freed, and I have done my good deed for the day.

tl;dr Kicked down door barefoot at 4am to save friends. Man do I feel manly.
