Uh... I've forgotten how less linear Golden Sun II is... and I'm lost. On the bright side, I'm in an area with really strong monsters, levelling fast, and have found equipment waaaaay beyond what I should be carrying! Whatever dungeon I'm supposed to be at right now is going to get reamed as soon as I find it.

I liked that about Golden Sun 2. It's the old RPG formula of "Talk to everyone, go everywhere." Instead of the game telling you exactly what to do and when to do it.

Sigh, if only... I would absolutely walk to the inn after each fight to level up in a crazy overpowered area like that. Anyhow, I think I found the plot again, but I missed a few cutscenes and possibly a boss? I have like one of each djinn now and I haven't fought anything with plot ties yet. I did find a wicked axe that boosted my attack from like 54 to 80 though (and a similar vest for defense!) :D

The Themis Axe is made of badass. And it has a nifty unleash anim too.

Operation: Nuff with the god-damn caffeine is underway. Perhaps the soda was screwing with my schedule

I'm doing that, too. It's going...slowly. A tip: Take an Excedrin Migraine in the morning and you won't crave the bubbly stuff. Of course, you'll have to wean yourself off of the Excedrin (because it contains caffeine,) but at least you'll knock off a good portion of the caffeine and all of the sugar/aspartame/sucralose and the CO2.

Jaja, I usually take advil to fend off the headaches because Excedrin has as much as a can or two of caffeine in it. I already feel a little better, and hopefully tomorrow will be even better.

Today I have both managed to fight off my Nicotine cravings and get somewhat stronger since my heart attack early this year.

Yay!

Steam Free Preview Weekend of Ruse.

I remember the beta and actually getting bored I was winning so hard. Something like a 28 victory streak.

I remember playing the beta and not knowing what to do, and then it crashed a bunch.

I spent ten minutes watching a spider build a web on my ceiling fan.  I think they're creepy and disgusting, and watching this guy fail his legs around was no less so, but I appreciate physics in motion enough that watching him work was fascinating.  Now I've got an annoying blind spot from the lightbulb though.

As long as this thread is used for general chat bullshit anyway, there was a 3.7 magnitude earthquake in Washington D.C. today.  That's pretty cool, in a Roland Emmerich kind of way.

Wait. Janet had a heart attack?

She has a weak heart, and had a mild heart attack earlier this year.  That's all there is to say about it.
