I found a snapping turtle today.  It was just a baby.

We took it home because it was in the middle of our subdivision, there are kids around, those things can bite off your finger, and my brother has a sudden thing for reptiles.  He also has a Colombian Boa Constrictor and a Tegu.  And shingles, but that isn't a reptile.  It was pretty funny though when I walked in (I was visiting my dad's house before my brother's graduation).  His shirt was off, and I was like "Hey guys, what's goi--What the hell is all over your back?"

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

That didn't make me happy.  The turtle made me happy, the other reptiles made me happy, it was a stream of consciousness.

My brother's is a baby, but yeah, they get pretty big.  Really, he's swimming in babies right now.  I forgot but he also has a baby goliath bird eating spider, I've mentioned that before.  Everything he owns (The snake, the spider, the lizard, and now the turtle) has the potential to get ridiculously large.

Reptiles are win, I've always wanted a snake or a little lizard.

Also we have snapping turtles around here, almost ran over one with the ATV a few years ago, cool animals.

So a friend of mine just gave me his old copy of XCom, burned to a CD.
My first base is near Melbourne.
I somehow knew it was Melbourne even though I've rarely looked at maps of Australia and have never been to Australia.

Just got my drivers fixed, and then proceeded to fix my colors and optimize my optimizations. Now things are incredibly speedy. Hurah!

I used to have pet snapping turtles; if you handle them enough as babies you have little to worry about as they get bigger.  But they grow pretty fast... they also seemed to like to kill things just so they were dead.  No fish would share space with them!  Unless you counted all the fish snapped in half.  What a mess.  Then later they are hungry and don't want old fish.

Anyway the story i wanted to tell was I had a Computer.  With a network card, sitting on the floor, minding its own business serving files for my home network.  The turtle in question was frequently allowed to wander around the house unrestricted.  He wound himself up int he network cable and yanked the card right out of the slot, with the computer on.  I heard all this beeping and came to investigate and there was a turtle staring at me from behind the computer...
