Oh they know. Spiders are not stupid. They've just got disproportionally huge balls.

Remember 13 Dead End Drive?  That game that took longer to set up than it did to play, and had traps and all kinds of awesome stuff?

I do, and the memory makes me happy, even if I did only play it three or four times because it took a year to put together.

Today was the first weekend day since that math test, meaning the firs day me and mom was at home simultaneusly withoute unceasing argument for... longer than I can remember. On top of it I had a (IRL) roleplaying session today.

For the first time in ages, instead of a a marathon of trying to keep up with internet forums and maths, It's been a marathon of tasty foods, peaceful helping mom out in the garden, and just enjoying not having to constantly do things.

I get tomorrow off, yay.

In DF, I'm going to make a bear pit entrance, and see if I can stave off ambushes and maybe even sieges by only using wildlife, granted in outrageous amounts

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

It is ungodly hot and my house is not ventilating. The back room of the basement is freezing. I've been down there reading all day, snuggled in enough blankets to stay at a reasonable temperature. I also genned my dream embark spot in DF.

So far it is good. I have read The Outsider, The Music of Erich Zann, and The Rats in the Walls.

Scientific American's latest magazine (June 2010) ranks self aware AI more likely to occur during the next 40 years than a nuclear exchange, and about as likely as human cloning. The Singularity approaches! :D
