New avatar to reflect general trend of better moods and more socialization and acceptance amongst peers pure evil.

That thing is horrifying.

I didn't know pineapples were symbolic for anxiety and loneliness.

Pineapple was for mellowness, and I had Lord Dakoth do the Wilson stuff on it for the semi-loneliness. I had some friends, just as Wilson had Chuck.

I always crack up at these, simply because they are true.

Snake already had facial hair!
Snake had Stubble. That is a Man Beard.

Also, Link looks surprisingly like a Dread Pirate Roberts. Also a step in the right direction.

I finished Next.

It was okay.
Slayers?  I only enjoyed the first two seasons, the second one being so amazingly well done that I worship the ground it walks on.  The ensuing seasons are lacking, I think.

And Space Jam. Nine viewings per week are required or else I have to step down as the record keeper for the Micheal Jordan and Space Jam Cult of America.
Go play Charles Barkley Shut up and jam: Gaiden. Now. Even if you already have.

Holy crap guys, I made it. I'm back from the wilderness.

The weekend backpacking trip was so kick-ass. We carried 30 lb. packs of equipment, food, and water down and up, and down and up again over rocky sandstone canyon shelves and water-carved arches, over huge boulders that had calved off from the cliffside, down into a temperate rainforest full of moss and gnarled roots, back and forth across a rock-dotted river, and then slogged a good mile up steep, rocky, mud-slicked hills to a sandstone plateau 200 feet above the tallest trees below. It was there, in a remote region of the Red River Gorge, accessible only if you hike into the wilds for a full day with all your equipment, in the midst of a wind-swept copse of trees that had burned to charcoal after a lightning-storm some decades ago, with the haunting call of a whippoorwill echoing through the night... there that I made a strawberry cheesecake, with my friends trading movie quotes and bad actor impersonations, reading neurology textbooks on a Kindle, and talking about the glory days of WoW.

God damn, we're dorks. I'll have pictures up in the next few days... for now, I badly need a shower, and some sleep.
