I took my 4x4 V8 ute out with a few mates. We had a bull arab dog and a kelpie, plus fishing rods, breastplates for the dogs, filleting knives and a pigging knife and esky full of genuine four 'x' gold (which tastes like piss, btw). We went fishing for a bit, caught a catfish, a yellowbelly and a few cod, using yabbies for bait, before piling the dogs in the back of the ute and going down the back paddocks looking for pig tracks.

... I feel so fucking aussie right now.

I'm inclined to agree with you there Jack, always a good feeling to feel proud of your countrymen. However, there is one point where I must digress.

 For the most part it seems alright, but the font and font colors are both crap. There is absolutely no contrast, and everything is more difficult to read now. We don't need one pixel thick characters.

Not "Happy" so much as a "Kinda Neat", but a big fleet of military helicopters and jets just blew overhead. Apparently, they're excourting President Obama into a tiny local airport. I wonder what he's doing here?

I personally don't like the new steam. It's not the look and feel that bother me, just that it seems WAY less reliable.

My problem with it is the notification sounds are too subtle, when the old sounds went off I could tell instantly, now it's as if I'm underwater and everything is muffled.

My doctor says the medications worked perfectly and I should be better now. My appetite is returning a bit, even if I still hack up my lungs occasionally. Also, today I got a chance to flex the Mind Muscles by devastating the rest of my class in Survivor History 5 rounds in a row.

I have everything in the world to be mad about today, and when I got home from class I certainly was.  Absolutely every little niggling thing that hits my pet-peeve berserk button got in my way, on top of getting three hours of sleep and probably bombing an exam, and finding out how much reading I need to do before final-exams.  More than anything though, I found out I'm $2000 more in the hole than I expected to be.  So I need to amass about $6000 by early August.

But I guess I'm happy.  The sense of finality and knowing exactly what I'm facing is empowering, in a resolute sort of way.  Now I just need to get it.
