One could theoretically get rid of your ears, but this would take quote a bit more surgery to move your entire hearing mechanisms further up on your head. No matter how well it goes your hearing WILL be ruined.

Not to mention moving your ear-canals high up the cranium where humanoid cat-ears would be, would mean finding/making room in your braincase too.  Not too much much of a problem for someone who'd want to go through with it anyway I suppose.

It'd be pretty damn cool to have cat-ears though, you have to admit.
No. It would not.

Dolphin ears, on the other hand...

Entirely relevant to this discussion.  I was telling Janet about this crazy-ass biology course I'm taking online.  I've previously posted the wacky song-lyrics and bizarre discussions contained in the text, but this...  This is either a bald-faced lie or the greatest coverup in the history of embryonic science.

Several other organisms have been successfully cloned since Dolly. The full list consists of the rhesus monkey (2000), pig (2000), gaur (2001), cattle (2001), cat (2001), mice (2002), rabbit (2003), human-rabbit hybrid (2003), mule (2003), deer (2003), horse (2003), rat (2003), and fruit fly (2004). In spite of this, the overall success rate has been very low: Dolly was born after 276 failed attempts; 70 calves have been created from 9,000 attempts and one third of them died young; the first horse took 328 attempts, and, the second was created after 400 attempts. With certain species, such as dogs, successful clones have yet to be created.

I've been spending at least a hour each day drawing little portraits of people.  It's a good relaxer.

Do they know you're doing it, or are you doing it stealthily like that one really creepy XKCD.

Specifically, this.  Who does that?

What makes me happy: Deep, deep in the benighted depths of Forum Games and Roleplaying, something is stirring.  Something that was once dead.  Something that, in an interesting twist of fate, is about dead things coming back to life.  Something that is that All Flesh Must Be Eaten campaign.  It's stirring.  That could possibly mean it's alive.

Happy things... ?  As of tomorrow, I'm going on a schedule that should help me mood-stabilize.  You cannot imagine how much I am looking forward to being on an even keel.
