I've been doing something awesome in Cortex Command.

On Flat Zone Large, load a dropship up with the entire Ronin lineup (unarmed).  Fly it horizontally as long as you can, getting it up to ridiculous speeds.  Keep doing this until it hits something.  Usually they're going so fast that when they blow up they carpet the entire map in a rain of blood, bone, shrapnel, fire, and huge chunks of metal.  A lot of the shrapnel is so small and so fast it'll gib people before you even know what happened.

Sometimes someone even manages to get thrown clear of the explosion and lands safely, and then you can have fun behind enemy lines situations where you have to find a weapon (You remembered to leave them unarmed, right?) and fight off the bad guys as long as you can when you're already wounded.

It's awesome, and it makes me happy.

Get a dropcrate, fill it with 25 crabs, and 1 frag grenade, and 2 pineapple grenades. Drop it on the battlefield, and scuttle it in midair, showering flaming crab gibs on the enemy army. Alternatively, if an enemy base is buried under dirt or sand, load it up with an additional 25 crabs, and the weight will dig down into their base through the soil. Scuttle it when it nears the base... instant breach.

I call it a Crab Pot. Delicious Spacecrab Gumbo.
