While eating an orange, I noticed the skin on the inner portions tasted almost exactly like the skin on a raspberry. This got me thinking about how similar the two actually are, compared with other fruit; both contain their seeds within separate segments of fruit, surrounded by a thin skin. Granted, they are still worlds appart, but it's interesting to see the emmergence of common models of seed/fruit containment. I wonder if the skin on the segments of an orange and the nodules of a raspberry are made of the same stuff, and/or are based on a common ancestor?

Ermm.... yes. For inexplicable reasons, this makes me happy. I'm going to go find the nearest botany texbook , and see if I can't solve this one.

Still, you have the map. It seems Reasonables post of old files lacks that particular map. If you could upload it somewhere we could edit the map so we can see more chunks on our own.

Ran across this guy's Let's Plays of Dwarf Fortress Adventure mode using Civilization Forge Unleashed. Which has some issues in adventure mode, I guess. But I had to stop listening to them at work because I was having too much trouble stifling my laughter!

I might finally get my old Mac Mini returned to me. I'll have to wait until my sister visits again sometime, but YAY! I'll finally get my old computer returned after ages of it being being loaned, maybe attacked by some kind of virus, and so on. It seems she no longer needs it, so after almost a year of waiting I finally get it returned.

Looking back, I've had that thing for some time, so knowing the Mac series, it's sure to be an out-mode (Especially considering it's an original model with Power PC still being it's primary processor, not Intel; and still OSX Tiger for it's OS). If anything, I finally get some of my property back, plus I think I have a few savegames and such still on it, including some Chrono Trigger (PS1) saves (all but 1 ending) and some Chrono Cross saves, Homeworld 2 (beaten) as well that I forgot to transfer to my PC since I thought the loan was only going to be temporary (a few weeks to a few months tops, not nearly a year).

I'm coming up with alternate uses for it for when it's back in it's old spot. That spot in front of my keyboard has been a void for so long. Aside thrashing it, any other ideas I can use for it?

Oh, and when I initially loaned it, I attempted, but failed to introduce DF to her by having it pre-installed on it.

What is YaNcIso and why can't I find it?

Why does it look like a regular randomly generated map when I play it or open it in Omen?

Finally got the sound working on my tileset version of DF, it came with the sound set to off and it didn't occur to be that SOUND:YES was not the same as SOUND:ON.
