I have two kidneys, their retroperoneal. Controlling fluids is quite an ordeal.
They help me handle a changing pH, with amino acids and bicarbonate.
There’s two ureters, one bladder below; with one urethra, when I have to go.
My renal pyramids have glomeruli, they keep my blood clean So that I won’t die.

My capillaries winds up inside_Bowman’s Capsule _ that’s cool.
It has arterioles that go in and out, they’re afferent and efferent.

My renal corpuscle wind up in a ball, with three colanders inside their wall.
They filter filtrates in Bowman’s Capsule. My urine’s sterile, not like my stool.
There’s reabsorption in the tubule, that’s proximal to Bowman’s Capsule.
The Loop of Henle is for osmosis. It pumps out salt so water follows it.
And there’s secretion in the tubule, the one that’s distal to Bowman’s Capsule.

The distal tubule curves back around_To the arterioles _ for pressure control.
The juxtamedullary apparatus releases Renin and EPO.

Collection tubules will close like a dam to water if ADH is around.

Without this hormone there’s dieresis_This Diabetes _ is insipidus.
I can go hours and not have to do this, with Anti Diuretic Hormone.

My urine drains to the kidney calyx. The renal pelvis is where it collects.
Adrenal cortex makes Aldosterone. With too much Renin, I Might grow a stone.
A diuretic makes my urine flow. Atrial natriuretic peptide is what makes me go.

I’d be in trouble if my kidneys shut down_ I’d have to insist _ on dialysis.
And do it daily so I could stick around. My kidneys are good so far.

Despite the mess made by some crap and a fan being involved regarding work; I got my paycheck, and it seems rather generous enough to get me ever closer to ending my debt. A bit more than I expected, thank goodness.

Furthermore, despite the crap-fan, I should have plenty of hours in this week, and a bunch more hours accrued next week. And with Lent ending soon, I should be able to be back on Steam soon enough. Took damn long enough.

Right, so, I get killed. I wanted to preform a study to see if I could prove the existence of a soul. I announce that anyone wishing to partake in the study can turn up at the Chapel anonymously to take part. Then, I prepare an Informed consent statement, because I want to do this right. Here's what that achieved.

• The traitor got to be alone with me and also had an excuse for being alone with me should he be discovered.
• Nobody knew his name, due to the anonymity thing.
• In fumbling around with the form, I gave him ample time to knock me out and fire me into space.

Damn you, informed consent! You are a heathen method that will bring naught but peril to those who use you!
