This whole forum lore thing is getting a bit wearing :/.

Extremely.

Could somebody provide me with a definition of "forum lore?"  Thanks much.

This whole page.

I know for a fact though that the National Honor Society only take in kids ONCE A YEAR AT AROUND APRIL.  And that year happens to be either your Sophomore year or Junior year, they didn't take me Sophomore year so I got one chance left.

The time is coming up soon, if I don't get in I won't be able to at all.

EDIT:

So many words placed in the wrong places.  :P

Interesting.  We don't really have an equivalent here - universities will just look at your grades.

Incidentally, looks like my interview with the top 6th form (high school) in the country* is coming up.  I should be ok due to high predicted grades, but still... nervewracking :o.

*At least by exam result.  And it looks pretty good too.

I guess.  I have quite a nice personal statement though... and it sortof came together without trying.  I've got -

- Recommendations from two nationally famous mathematicians (one I was with work experience on, one I lucked out with)
- Special 2 week summer course in chemistry
- Weekly conservation volunteering
- National Go Champion (under 12s.  Yeah.  Someone else thrashed me the next year, but y'know)
- Early maths GCSE
- 2 twilight subjects
- Full A* predictions for grades

Yeah, as I said, I'm pretty lucky in a whole lotta ways.  That and the fact that this high school is within cycling distance of my house.

Who isn't going on whose Livestream NOW, HUH?! HUH?!?!?!

Anywho, Shaolin Soccer makes me happy.

Rewatching from the beginning for those who didn't get a chance yesterday, after lots of technical issues.

Happy: progress on my 7DRL.

Unrelated: If anyone wanted, I could get a full BBCode copy of any topic that currently exists on this forum. (Don't worry, not hacking, just automated quoting. Using the set of stuff I was using to make a backup of VN for a while, but procrastinated frequently and haven't got back to working on it yet) It works on locked topics, although can't reply to them, obviously.

What's his main six?  Good element net?  Attacks or Specials?  C'mon, this is a fascinating insight.
