No more English classes for the rest of the week. Hurah.

Now I just need to worry about that Philosophy class.

Cold front/freeze warning is finally gone for the time being again. Going for a walk while I still can. Plus, it's a nice sunny blue-sky day again after enough overcasts.

I stumbled upon an old comic I liked. Doesn't update very often so I never bothered to bookmark it. Now I see some of the new stuff and I can't help myself.
Then there are the great older ones.

Could somebody provide me with a definition of "forum lore?"  Thanks much.

Yesterday night was fun.  BAN TIME.

I got back from doing some community service again, I got a free shirt.  I was helping run some Special Ed Olympics thing, I think I said I was going to do this earlier, but whatever.

Forum lore... like... injokes specific to the forum?  Mainly revolving around certain members.

Uh... you don't have to say... but why are you on community service?

I need volunteer hours if I want a shot in the National Honor Society.  They only except like 15 kids and I already got good grades.

I'm volunteering at my local humane society as well.

Ah, wow.  What would getting into the Honour Society entail?

I do do some charity work over the weekends (I much prefer volunteering in physical related areas to sport) but the way you said "community service" made me unsure :P.

Wait, Toony, your school only takes 15? Mine takes as many kids are pulling the grades and service time. I think right now it is some 40 kids. I'm pretty happy because I found out I pulled my grades up to first honors for third quarter.

I don't know actually, but it sounds cool and I want in.
I think you can go to college easier or something.  I know that 100% of Vela Victorians were in the NHS.

Vela Victorians are the top students of that grade level, each year has one.  It would be a great honor dood.

Maybe 15 each year?  I remember hearing 15.
