I'm happy because... dunno about specifics really, it's been a generaly good day. Got a lot of math done, mum taught me to use a chainsaw and wood was sawed and choped, still not of the buzz from all the roleplaying (IRL, finally) yesterday, wached a nice movie and ate well... Just the small things in life.

A spider has made a web in the doorway of my balcony.
It appears to be some sort of banana spider, of the less dangerous north american variety.
I want to catch it and keep it as a pet, any advice?

It's pretty small. Body is about 2 cm long, and legs are about 2.5.
Probably a juvenile.
It literally just appeared overnight with a web covering about two-thirds of the frame.

I fully support this. I know taurantellas make great pets, but i don't know much abaut how to keep ones that spin webs, it might be so that you'll need a huge terarium and geting food will be hard, but it might happen that it's easy as well. I'd ask mum if she were awake, but she isn't.
One thing you shuld do is surf the web and a) find out exactly what species it is, and b) if that kind of spider (probably nothing abaut hte exact species avible, but general info shuldnt be to hard) make a good pet if you don't have special knowledge and equipment.
A general rule of thumb is that if it isn't a common pet that can be bought in stores, making it thrive in captivity is often much harder than most people expect, althou I'm not sure how well this heuristic works for invertebrates.

The ending is pretty clever.

It's called Dragon Warrior, a game made by "Lumental" in 2002.
You play a dragon who adventures to slay a guy named Dragon Slayer who wants to kill all dragons and kidnap their kids so they would go extinct. It seems like someone's first attempt at a graphical game by how little stats there are (Max HP, Attack points, Defense points) and the lack of an inventory(you can only have 1 weapon, 1 armor, and 1 shield at a time). There's also gold and XP. It can be played with the arrows keys plus CTRL and shift or with a joystick if you have one.
