You should not try to capture the spider.

Spiders are evil.

Spiders are not evil.
In fact, most spiders are actually quite beneficial.
And some are even friendly.

Finally beat Metroid: Zero Mission 100% Hard difficulty with a time of 1:38:56 (with the assistance of a guide, of course so I can get the quickest path and all 100% of the items). Oh yeah, and I did it all on a genuine Game Boy Advance (IE- No savestates, sensitive controls, and a tiny screen, and I couldn't save as often otherwise it could hinder my time.).

Also to make it more an achievement, the gallery is finally full on that game (got all endings finally). I feel so fulfilled for finally genuinely 100%-ing a handheld game for once in a long time. Actually, the 100% Hard mode run was real fun. So fun, it took until now for me to finally beat it that way. All the other modes/methods of beating it were simple enough, even the >15% Hard Mode run. Heck, I think I still have that save on my hard-copy. I had a save on the hard-copy, but I had to replace it with the game I was playing instead. Oh yeah, 1st run through, I barely had any time to finish off the boss; but a 2nd replay of the game gave me over 20 minutes (25+ I think) to spare after picking up the final item and saving even. I started it yesterday and finished tonight.

I gotta pat myself on the back for a job well done. I can finally put the GBA in a safe place for the future.

I'm happy that I finally got a flashdrive.

I'm slowly catching up with the modern era. Eventually, someday, I'll even be able to replace my abacus.

I've had a cane spider jump out of my bathroom towel.
A spider behind a clock is nothing.

You need to befriend a tarantula.
Then you'll like spiders.
Also, the spider that I found can eat birds.
The adults anyway. This one is too small.

Not a particular fan of spiders myself. Down here, we have some mutant spiders, easily the size of my hand.

It's very discouraging when you can hear one run across your sliding glass doors. Yikes. I can tolerate the tiny ones that hang around (they keep the ant- roach-population in check). The bigger guys; I have a personal policy with them, and I even tell them in case they do understand human tongue. I'll allow them to live, but if they interfere with anyone's personal space, then either leave with your life when we allow you to (usually leaving a window or door open), or suffer a painful end (bug spray to slow them down if they're too hard to smack, or a well-aimed/timed shot with a shoe. My flipflops have claimed many lives.).

Gotta admit though, as much as I dislike spiders, I am oddly fascinated by them. I guess I have an intolerance valley (Tiny I don't mind, medium to large I really don't like, Size of tables or larger, let's hope reality can keep them slow, but I would be fascinated nonetheless of their existence alone (See- Monsterquest: Giant Spiders).

Do you know how big cane spiders are?
Thankfully, they are friendly, don't build webs, hunt any insect that is even remotely bad, and, IIRC, don't have a dangerous bite.
