Someone needs to make this thread, I don't want to because I'd have to start it.

I WILL DO IT!

One person write a chapter, and then someone else writes the next one?

Each and every thing is tempered by knowledge, logic, and pragmatism; when I do something that I enjoy it's "I obviously enjoy this for some reason, I need to limit how much I do it and make sure it is fulfilling a purpose along with being a motivator, if not, I must stop doing it."

(How many)(What) other people think like this?

I think I used to, but on the other hand I now pretty much refuse to do anything that makes me unhappy.  If it makes me unhappy, I try to find a way to turn it into something that cheers me up.  Of course, I have the luck of enjoying optimization problems, so the act of trying to make something more fun inherently makes it more fun.

I know that everything I do has a purpose, because I remember all the mindless things I did as a child, and how they developed into critical skills as I grew up.  If it applied then, why shouldn't it apply now?

 NONONONO GODDAM NO.

We already have TWO threads for that, mayhaps three if you make some creepy romance highschool story. We do not need more of this.
