Re: Lost

I thought Word of God confirmed the island wasn't purgatory almost right away? Because that would have been the obvious solution. And they sort of went with it anyway. Gah.
Only confirms what we knew since season 2.

The plot was pulled from their ass the entire time.

I figured this was a commonly-held hypothesis because Gabe from Penny Arcade mentioned it. Cause or effect, either way at least a few people had to be expecting that.

I stopped watching when they spent several episodes not opening the big metal hatch in the ground.

Going to be playing Forgotten Realms DnD 3.5 soon! Very soon! After a failed attempt at starting Exalted, we've pirated all of the 3.5 source books, and most of our group have already completed or started on character sheets.

I actually have very little experience in DnD PnP, but I have a good concept of the general mechanics and setting from Neverwinter Nights I and II, Baldur's Gate, and a few supplementary books I picked up and read for fun a couple of years ago.

We'll be doing an evil campaign, I'll be an LE Cleric of Jergal, with Repose and Fate as my domains. I was originally planning a Werewolf Cleric of Malar, but the +3 ECL and the lack of a lawful character to keep the group goal oriented made me and our DM decide I should change classes.

Fan theories are basically endless shining swathes of pure insanity and pretend originality that writers can harvest whenever they want.

It's kinda beautiful, actually.

Reminds me of MSPA.

Today was a good day. Really good.

This cute little game reminds of Battleships Forever.
Forgot to say thank you. Very enjoyable, I've spent more than 2 hours completing it. I just loved dragging shell pieces back from the battlefield and building my ship into a near-unmovable behemoth loaded with cannons. I hope it gets completed some day, it has potential.

The Misfits, a TV show about a group of juvenile delinquents who get super powers.

Half way through the first episode, and its awesome so far.

Also, after I neglacted her for a long time, today I played again with my GBA SP. It was just...so calming and sweet.

And now I'm off to get some sleep. Have a nice day/evening/night/etc. everyone.

I finally saw Pulp Fiction.  It was strange.  It was simultaneously hilarious and dead serious, really good and really bad.

My only real complaint is that some of the jokes seemed awkward, like they really wanted to make them but weren't sure how to put them in.  I'm referring to "Say what again" and dead friendly African American gentleman storage.

I had no idea what they were saying, either, but in Japan the business card is considered a symbol of the person.  Thus why the CRUSHING YOUR BUSINESS CARD face was so stupid and hilarious.

I was wondering what that video was and I guessed what is was before I clicked your link.
I remember laughing when I first saw it, I forgot where it was first mentioned for me, probably VGCats or something.
The best part is later on with that face, heheh.

I found a link with relevant information.

I just remembered Eversion and downloaded it. Never played it. Let's see what this is all about.

EDIT: Oh dear. Everything went from cute to depressing.

EDIT2: What the hell?!

EDIT3: Well, that did not take long. Didn't gather all the gem things, though. Freaky game.
