I come home from a late school night after a long and exhausting day.
What do I find?
Homemade tacos and strawberry ice cream waiting for me.

My family is <3 sometimes.

Now let's see what happens when he stumbles upon the Symphony of Science (not that he probably already hasn't seen it.)
Listening to it now~

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Does anyone else pretend to conduct when listening to an awesome orchestral soundtrack? Because that's what I'm doing right now :D

On a whim I decided to finally sit down and listen to the Developer Commentary of Team Fortress 2 and Portal 2. I'm not all the way through Portal 2's at the moment, since it requires me to replay the entire game (something I don't mind doing) but it's astonishing the level of thought, focus, and research that Valve invests into every small thing about their games. It's really great, I wish that all my favorite games had developer commentary now. Heck, I wish that bad games had Dev Commentary too, just so you could see what's going on in their heads while they're making it, it'd be so educational.

So I've finally started playing the copy of Simcity 4 I got a few days ago, after shaking off worry over it apparently being the hardest in the series to get going.

Yet I seem to have grasped things anyway. Even so far getting a pair of towns cooperating for profitsssss.

...

No I'm not a Teladi. Don't look at me like that.

Also Gaige the Mechromancer is adorable. No I don't know why this is relevant to anything in this post or even happened in the last 48 hours to me. Just been thinking that for the past 5 hours or so for whatever reason.

Trick is to not let things stable out too quickly. Otherwise it just sort of stagnates and becomes hard to grow.
Also, doing missions to unlock cool shit like area 51. Always do the missions.

Yeah. That's what I've been doing. Manage one while demand and willingness to grow is high and when things start to taper off I go make more jobs in the other city. Then when demand for more factorys goes low I go make more high demand housing and I just keep this little back and forth up and things seem to be going pretty smoothly.
