I just bought Paper Mario: Sticker Star and watched Wreck-It Ralph.

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say Wreck-It Ralph is the best animated movie of 2012, but that might just be my love of arcades speaking.

Meanwhile, Sticker Star's whole soundtrack is jazzy, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Best weekend I have had in a while.

Obama is not impressed.

Oh man.  Oh man  :o
Now, all we need is to get Maroney to do Obama's "Not bad" face, and the world will implode.

Edit: Also, I just put my daughter to sleep with the music to Final Fantasy Tactics. Muahaha.

Haha, nice :D Hero's Theme? That one's pretty soothing.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

My car is fixed!

I'm sure that my 2 weeks of being trapped in my house haven't done to much damage to my sanity! Stupid apartment is more than an hours walk from any entertainment.

I can't believe a baking experiment went just as planned. Brownies! Covered in pumpkin pie filling!

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

It is simple. Make brownies, following a recipe you possess. When they are done, make pumpkin pie filling, following any recipe, and pour it atop the brownies. Then, cook the result as you would a pumpkin pie, but mostly at a lower temperature; mine said you were to cook at 425 for 15 minutes then 325 for 60 minutes, and I wound up going with 325 for 20 minutes, 425 for 10 when I reread the pie instructions and realized I'd misread them earlier, and 225 for 50 (I turned it down this much because I had to leave the apartment and did not want to return to a fire, but it turned out to work). The resulting dessert is finished when a toothpick comes out clean, and when it starts to pull away from the edges of the cake pan (you should do all this in a cake pan, whose dimensions I don't have on hand because I left the leftovers in the pan with my family).
