Speaking of awesome music, I just downloaded the entire soundtrack for Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. Probably the best music in the series, with tons of heavy guitar and drums.

Here's one of my favorites.

Mein gott that guitar is tasty!  Seriously, I can't find any other way to adequately describe it.

badumbaumdumdumdum.  I'm going to be humming that the rest of the day.

I'm changing my stance on Days of Ruin, I'm going to give it a try.  This delicious music has convinced me.  Seriously, with music this good there's no way the game could be bad.
Just keep in mind that it's still an Advanced Wars/Nintendo Wars game in terms of mechanics. If you didn't like the gameplay of previous titles, then you probably won't like this :(
The story is the best in the series, though.

The pain in my foot isn't a broken ankle! It's just a mid-foot sprain!

I've extensive rollerblading experience so I guess the action is similar.

just remember, ice skates have razor sharp blades!

hope you don't fall over and have someone go over your fingers!
...

This is why I never go ice skating.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Even if you don't lose a finger or two, falling down (and you WILL fall down) hurts more than you'd expect. Especially when you actually get some decent speed going and accidentally dig your toes into the ice.

This is totally not personal experience, honest :P

When I was like 10 or something I slipped on the ice while skating and landed on my chin.  Cut it open straight to the bone somehow.  My next memory is of a crazy looking doctor stabbing me in the face with a huge looking needle.(probably painkillers, but still terrifying when you're a kid and you are already in pain.)  :)

Yay then I guess for selective balance that's awesome for skating and walking on narrow ledges but makes me trip over every so often while walking.

Having done both I can agree here. Although the Ice and the Ground react differently.

Falling down hurts, It does. Might have something to do with the whole falling on a dense-ish solid object. That being the Floor.

I always enjoyed ice-skating, but my feet would be covered in sores after. Having big feet sucks sometimes. It doesn't help when you can only afford cheap-asss socks and skates and such.

I haz no balance. I can manage to stand on ice skates and not fall over, but propulsion is something of an issue. I've tried moving my legs the way you're supposed to and instead I just look like the world's best ice mime, doing that walking-in-place thing.

Also can't ride a bike. Impossible for me to push on a pedal without making the entire bike fall over. FUCKING PHYSICS, HOW DOES IT WORK?  >:(
