Heeey, memories. That reminded me I have an infinite frothing hatred for those little orange bastards. My hands did the little reflexive strangling thing! Frumple doesn't care if you facepunch gods, he gets to roll a natural twenty (with a plus ∞ to confirm all rolls) to strangle to death anything singing that goddamn song. So far I've managed to make the will save versus succumb to murderous impulse, though. So no one's died, yet!

I was in the play, long, long ago. I took away from it nothing but a degree of voice training and towering enmity towards wonka's factory and everything related to it. It was times, it was. Not good times, no. Just times.

A dessicated ruin rises from the sands of a vast desert; worn steel and fragments of mirrored glass tower above the dunes. The frame of a massive sign which once held vast amounts of neon lighting leans precariously over the waste. At ground level, a window frame has been reinforced with scrap metal crudely welded into place. A stout, barred door prevents easy access. Unnecessary, perhaps, for none foreign to this place have arrived for many years. Until now, that is. You stand before the rather underwhelming addition to the massive structure, canteen empty, as you pound weakly on the frame. You can hardly even remember your name; weeks spent wandering through the wastelands drive all extraneous thoughts from the heads of every being foolish enough to venture into them. After what seems like hours, the sound of a heavy bar being slid aside echoes through the metal, and you slump to the ground, only to be caught by the angelic vision which has opened the door.

Life is difficult beyond comprehension for those who live after the end, yet in this one place the descendants of survivors have made a home for themselves. And for you, now. Finding a way in which you can contribute to the small community (no more than a few dozen) that reside in this reminder of a long-dead world may be difficult. But what about something greater? Can you find love in the most unlikely of places? Welcome to the Omega Casino of Love.

Okay, seriously. The random video game name generator dumped this on me, and I can't get it out of my head because it sounds amazing. Post-apocalyptic dating sim set in a ruined casino? Yes please. Why doesn't this already exist? I'm practically giddy just thinking about it.

Could be NaNoWriMo material, perhaps?

My happy: Hurrah! I finally moved out yesterday! I still need to get a few things from my old place (stereo, laptop, favourite books etc), but the main thing is that I've finally made the leap, after weeks of delays.
It feels great to be back in the city I was born in, at last.

Watching Scott Pilgrim vs The World makes me giddy like nothing else.

Talking about the movie version. Scott pilgrim reminds me of one of my friends that I met in a Canada Wide volunteering program (That our conservative government just axed >.> even though its been around for 30 years), both in looks and in character.
