Pancreases are useless, to the best of my knowledge, they don't deal with organ transfers well. I'll give you fifty cents. (But no, you can't live without it either, since it basically deals with digestion).

Hehe, you get yours from other people? My uncle set up a trust fund for the whole family, now we can get clones to harvest organs from. This is my... 6th liver, my 19th spinal cord and my 44th set of teeth, IIRC. It's practically free, so we kinda don't care about injuries anymore. If it's too broken, we just open up a new clone, and BAM! Problem solved!

I was never a fan of cloning for organs.
I prefer those that die of "natural causes."
I did clone myself a new left hand though.
It has occasional problems with twitching, but nothing serious.

Hmph, you'll never have to get diagnostics to make sure that some poor old sap's liver doesn't fuck you six ways to sunday when you get it installed. Cloning is good, just quite expensive. I mean, you'll never have to wait for the next gang war! All you gotta do is call up your plant manager and request a replacment!

Gang war?
This is the Mafia.
There's always a hit on somebody at some point.
The best times for getting a new organ are early winter and mid-April though.
Prices are down down down then.

So, I just got home and caught up with the thread.  Found out about this thanks to this thread.  Those are some awesome fucking beards, and they make the personages they're attached to almost godlike.

I feel like I've ascended to a higher plane after finishing off this seven page essay from around five hours ago, and half that time was spent listening to a Yoshi's Island LP laughing at all the little things with the game. The other half browsing the forums.

So you managed to write a seven page essay in effectively nil time?  The circle is now complete.  What was it about?

A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings and the religious opinions of the author.

I need to do this tomorrow with a ten page Philosophy paper as well.

A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings and the religious opinions of the author.

You had to write a seven page paper about that story?  It isn't seven pages long to begin with, is it?

I need to do this tomorrow with a ten page Philosophy paper as well.

And you know exactly the right place to ask for advice...

I think my idea for the paper is how emotions effect morality.

GEE I WONDER WHERE I GOT THAT ONE.

And yeah, the original story could easily fit on three pages. And the web databases we are allowed to use are rather small when it comes to resources on it.

I already paid my protection money.

Black Templars don't take bribes. They only take internal organs.
What if you try to bribe them with organs?

Do Templars like Haggis?

So I stumbled upon This article and just skimmed over it because I already knew this to some extent. But then something caught my eye.

Partner Armadillo Aerospace is also leading the private race into space. That company recently took second prize in a NASA contest to fly privately developed rockets on mock moon-landing missions. Armadillo has also developed reusable rocket-powered vehicles and engines for the X-racer aircraft. John Carmack is the president and chief technology officer of Armadillo Aerospace. As he told Space.com, "A decade of research and development has gotten us to the point where we can credibly talk about commercial passenger experiences. Everything is coming together … with Space Adventures to help us take things through to commercial operation."
