Fuck yes. I have an apartment set up in Seattle for $400 a month. Only additional expense might be some utilities and internet. Also I'll be helping out a handicapped roommate, which I'm perfectly okay with.

Now to find a job. Or two. Then I can move up ASAP, as the apartment becomes available November 1st. Just when I wanted to leave :D

I'm almost out of here!

Nice going! :D I've been planning to do kinda the same thing, just y'know, on a different continent.
I have one place lined up to check out, but I should probably look at a few more.

You know, all this talk of moving has finally got me to make a decision. I'm moving out after the school year's over and I get a job. No more having to put up with my stepdad's 'jokes'.

Damn fool tied my door handle to the railing in the hall with a rope as a 'joke'. I proceeded to flip the fuck out at being trapped in my room, and start throwing myself against the door in a desperate bid to get out. I damage the door frame somehow, and he rages at me for that. Even though he should have been able to predict the outcome of trapping me in my room.

...And that's not happy, but still. I'm moving out as soon as I can. That makes me happy because it's the first truly major decision I've made.
