If it's not one thing it's something else with him!! He does the weirdest stuff I swear. Anyways, so in addition to him latching onto my vacume cleaner hose attachment and refusing to part with it for the past 3 days (a new record for him), deciding hammocks are bad and sleeping on the rocks in the cage meant to file down their nails meanwhile blocking the path for the other rats to get to different levels and then gets mad at them if they step on him while he's napping, he is now chewing on the FN cage!! Seriously, he isn't going to be able to chew out of the bars so what the heck is going on?? He really doesn't like this cage, wants his superpets cage back (you should see him try to make a mad dash for it though and try to get in) even though he's been in the FN now for the past 6 weeks.

Anyone elses rat chew on their FN cage bars?? BTW: if they do don't you just love the annoying sound it makes!! Ahhh it's driving me nuts. I half yell at him and say "Mr. Frumples knock it off" but he always gives me this sad look like "what mom, I wasn't doing anything".

I just had a funny thought:

You all know the story of how potato chips (or crisps, as they are called outside of the US) came to be: a man went to a fish and chip shop and ordered some chips. He sent them back several times, saying they were too thick. So the chef, annoyed with this particular customer, decided to get back at him by slicing his chips super-thin (rather than, or perhaps in addition to, spitting on them). The customer, rather than being annoyed that his chips were too thin and crispy, actually sent his compliments to the chef, and thus the snack food of contentious naming was born.

Now my idea is, what if the customer was actually a modern (or future) American time traveler, who just really wanted some freaking chips, so he created a paradox of origin like when they made a guy the inventor of transparent aluminum in that Star Trek movie about saving the whales?
