Probably depends on the state/country. Besides, Scelly is only 15 and Flying Dice is apparently at least 5 years older than him :P

I thought there was a law saying that a certain age difference is OK...

It depends where you live. In the USA, age of consent varies from as low as 15 to as high as 18.

How much of this applies to completely non-graphic fiction? And how much of it could be averted with a "this is 18-year-old scelly" disclaimer at the beginning of the fic?

This fanfic discussion is eerily reminiscent of an earlier debacle.

We're going to go ahead and end this discussion before it gets any worse, but this. Any participants would be of legal age. Actually, at least 21. Just because. Shit. Let's move on now. :P

If you want to write yaoi slashfics about me, sure, go ahead. Just don't talk about them on here, eh? Especially if the other person is underage.

I can honestly say that I never expected to need to write something like that.

To put this back on track:

I'm glad my literature report was accepted with a smile from my professor. Despite the stress it caused, and from others (accursed assignments!), it turned out "considerably perfect" in her words.

Woohoo! English as a second language is fuuuun.

I appear to be recovering quickly from my cold. It hit me in only an hour or two, but its been two days and I almost feel better now.

Like half the campus is sick though. Shows how fast disease travels between college students. I'm definitely getting the Influenza vaccine at the very least now, and probably the rest of the optional ones as well.
