You don't want to be missing those physics lessons though! You'll miss out on opportunities like learning how magnets work!

Brotip: apply more magnets for faster learning. [/badjoke]

On a more serious note, a few days ago, at the start of a soccer match for the sport lessons in school, i was at the side and the game yet had to start.
I dont really like soccer, so whats the happy part?
One of the guys on the other team was doing the gagnam style dance. And he was the only guy doing it, the other were just standing, increasing the hilarity.

I am somehow managing to get my absentee ballot without a large deal of annoyance. What's wrong with you, county clerk's office?

Quote from: Me in the sad thread two weeks ago
I just got my barely-ever-used bicycle fixed up and decided to ride it around town. I have a walking route that takes about an hour on foot, and decided to bicycle that. I was already panting and getting tired by the time I was about 1/4 done, but I decided to push ahead anyway and try to go the whole way.
...and actually made it! Woo!

Was super proud of myself, until I got home and came inside and found I was dizzy and nauseous as hell. Tried to eat some water and crackers and instead threw up my dinner. It took me 20 minutes to work up the strength to carry my bike inside.

Still horribly out of shape after all, I guess...

I just did the same route again last night, pacing myself much better, and totally owned it. I didn't start getting out of breath until I was 3/4 of the way, instead of 1/4 of the way. And felt fine afterwards.

Yay!

The FATE series was (part of) the same team's project before TL. Luckily, they've learned from their mistakes this time around. Many more carrots then sticks ;)

Me and my mom had some talks about intellectual topics. It's nice talking with someone who isn't my dad, for reasons stated below.

We basically decided several things.
1): The U.S could use some pulling out of Israel and see if they can stand on their own feet, and they're a bit mad and probably aren't doing our world reputation any favors.
2): Freud was relevant in his day but isn't so relevant anymore.
3): English is a weird fucking language that is more similar to spanish than any of the logical languages like French (conquered for a bit), German (language family), or Norse (England originally colonised by Norse countries). Why is it so close to Spanish grammar wise then?
4): God is unprovable, and mouth-frothing atheism is just as annoying as mouth-frothing Christianity or rabid Islam or over-zealous Judaism or Crazed Bhuddism or any of that type of stuff.
5): my father, while reasonably intelligent when forming opinons, has no concept of the difference between an opinion and a fact, which makes talking to him aggrivating, not unlike trying to talk to a brick wall about Human Rights.

Who still believes Freud's work is still relevant? Most of his theories have already been proven wrong but they still provide some backbone in others.
