The big secret is, none of us did either.  It's a fascinating case study in what derails do and don't stick, and what bits get incorporated into an impromptu narrative and which get shot down as pointless spam.  Appeared to have more to do with originality and seniority than anything else.

And in case anyone's wondering, I'll still fight to the death to defend my title of King of the Gila Monster Intestine.  It's roomy and the rent is superlow.  Not many outlets though.

Today looks pretty. I might go outside for a good bit. And I think I should have plenty of free time today to work on getting the second half of the Bloodfist story setup. Basically I plan to have it as a community fortress about it's maiden voyage home as well as a crossover with the home fortress being tinkered around with a tad, along with some adventure mode stuff. I won't be going about it as seriously as I did with the construction. I actually intend to make it a little more lighthearted and silly and make use of stuff like Dwarf Companion and such to mess around. I might toss in some other stuff as well. I'm probably going to setup something rather basic so I can get an intro/sign-up sheet ready. I think I spent a good enough amount of time away from the ship to get some ideas.

Oh, and I will be willing to toss in some random events (reason for DF Companion and such being used). Kudos to screwing around with Excel whenever I feel like it to apply to them, or at least an ol' 10-sided die I found to toss things up. I wanna have fun with this now. I feel like telling it sorta like a series with episodes arcs and such. Think of a dwarfy version of Firefly or Farscape or something.
