Ian Malcolm strode into Hogwarts' great hall. "See?" he said to nobody in particular. "Chaos theory. Nothing could have predicted this."

Gandalf Dumbledore rose. "Muggle!" he shouted. "What do you want here?"

"Muggle? I'm no muggle. I'm a chaotician."

"Oh. Well in that case, head up to the front so the sorting hat can determine which house you belong in."

Dr. Malcolm walked up, sat down, and placed the hat on his head. He heard a voice.

"Interesting," the hat said. "I've seen nobody like you before."

"Just sort me, hat," Ian mumbled. "I want to know where I belong."

"Oh, I know where you belong," it responded. From the tone of its voice, Malcolm imagined it to be grinning. "Not Slytherin," he mumbled.

"No, it won't be Slytherin for you. You belong..."

Ian scrunched his eyes at the suspense.

The darkness gets on your nerves after a while though, they managed a rather creepy atmosphere.
