I think I'm finally getting the hang of Titan design in Titans of steel: Warring suns.

Now I got a good looking light titan for my close combat specialist/team leader for when she gets herself out of the first rank finally.

Buck up friendo, we're all on the level here.
I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

There's a message on the back of this declaration. A newspaper clipping. Hmmm...

So Janet made a titan for titans of steel... She was at a loss for a name.

The titan featured a tesla bolt in the center torso as well as a pair of chainsaws in the arms and machine guns. Most details are in the pastebin link below.

She settles with the name 'Blitzkrieg'. But she didn't come up with it before I pitched my idea...

I wasn't sure if I heard it right XD
[2:13:12 PM] Rosalind: But if I did it was terrible XD
[2:13:18 PM] Rosalind: Since I heard Thunderhorse XD
[2:13:25 PM] shad0wdump: Thunder Heart
[2:13:29 PM] Rosalind: THATS WORSE
[2:16:39 PM] Rosalind: At least the name is more sterriotypical than bad now. But hey there wasn't one already so I took it XD http://pastebin.com/eGJe4aPy
[2:16:59 PM] Rosalind: I didn't see one
[2:17:05 PM] Rosalind: I said I didn't see one XD
[2:17:12 PM] Rosalind: Ill rename it if I find otherwise
[2:17:35 PM] shad0wdump: >_>
[2:17:37 PM] shad0wdump: <_<
[2:17:42 PM] shad0wdump: Thunder Heart is better.
[2:17:46 PM] Rosalind: Rosalind bops
[2:17:54 PM] Rosalind: There also isn't one already .P
[2:18:11 PM] Rosalind: There isn't one of either XD
[2:18:35 PM] Rosalind: Still fits anyway. XD
[2:18:49 PM] Rosalind: Thunder heart just sounds like the name of a horse in a bad romance novel XD

I was on voice so not all of the conversation from my end was in there.

It totally does sound like the name of a horse in a bad romance novel! I should know, I used to read those!

And then all the talk about how no man can break either of them and being kindred spirits riding along the plains and blah blah blah purple prose leadup to random sex scene.

Speaking of horses, Space Stallions! A show made to emulate the style of the 80's. 26 episodes coming soon, apparently.

And, uh, rainbow keytar sword.

Power of the horse... full-force!

Best of luck to them both in making it bad enough to work, and stretching the gag over a full season. I must say I love the minimalist synth themesong, and the rainbow/sword/keytar thing. Oh, and riding rainbow unicorn motorcycles through space too.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

That's some serious happy.

Also, should I name the section describing the detailed methods by which one can perform research in this game system, "Methods of Rationality"? Or is that just a little too much of a reference?

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
