What... what's so strange about a phone cord? There's usually been at least one phone like that in the places I've been living the last many years. Usually some wireless ones too, but at least one wired phone just in case.

This was fast.
A small bottle of Smirnoff and a shot of 140 proof whiskey later and I feel pretty good.

Truly, this is a feast. To be worthy of such a meal, I can only dream. One day, one day.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

So I was browsing through unicode characters to see if something existed, and came upon this: potential loface emotes galore.
I mean look: ᔟ ᑠ ᒰ So many possibilities.

Just "ᑠ)" alone rivals my past creation of "·Ḋ".

Also the Tibetan alphabet is way too pretty. It's like people who like getting tattoos of foreign words were in mind when these were designed.

That means you haven't got the right language support installed. I wrote something in Tibetan with some help a while back, hold on while I find the photo.

Finally got together with my friends to play our first session of Shadowrun. Even though we spent most of the session getting a job, scrounging for information from our contacts, and screwing the pooch with our first major lead, it was a lot of fun. I love the idea of an adventuring party who risk their lives not for the sake of justice or heroism, but to pay the rent on their crappy apartment in Fantasy-Cyberpunk Seattle... or in my character's case to keep the Elven Mafia off his back, and put gas into his "mobile home" (read: work van).
