This should have been posted yesterday but I am still happy about it so here goes. I got back from my uncles cabin and logged onto my university site to see I had gotten a 4 on my Linear Algebra and Calculus test and a 5 on my digital technology test. After all those hours slaving over VHDL getting my MIPS to work, the fact that it actually stuck to my brain is making me very happy indeed :D

Brave was really good. And also nothing like I expected it to be.

And afterwards I got to catch up on all the gossip I missed. Long story short: whiskey dick strikes again, with predictably hilarious results.

So I had a very sleepless night, which is to say I haven't slept yet due to sad issues, but I think I've reached an epiphany about how to approach a problem that's been plaguing me for a while.

And afterwards I got to catch up on all the gossip I missed. Long story short: whiskey dick strikes again, with predictably hilarious results.
Ahh whiskey dick...

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Honestly, whiskey dick sounds like some kind of food. I... I have no idea why. Possibly because I just woke up and it's 5 AM (do not want to be awake, dammit).

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Got my results for my biology exams. I'm averaging 16.3 out of 20 for this term, 16.13 overall. I feel fucking awesome.

Now, waiting for the chemistry results. The first 3 exams to come in are all at 17.5, but those are the three I aced. Waiting for the rest. :D

Edit: Got the chemistry result in. Did 15.3 for this semester, 14.55 overall. Seeing as I'm like the first guy in over 20 years to major in two scientific subject in my uni, I feel totally, utterly, awesome.

Isn't that the hardest mode?

Grats.

It's the hardest mode, aside from the new seasonal challenge runs. Bad Moon means nothing you got in prior Ascensions can help you, except for the knowledge. Also, there's a lot of adventures that deal with tradeoffs. The game basically kicks you in the balls and hands you a piece of cake at the same time, for the entirety of the run.

And then there's the Black Cat. She can reduce the experience you get from fights, block all your combat items each round, sap some of your MP at the end of fights, and prevent you from getting drops. Each of those with 50% accuracy. So, it's more like get kicked in the balls, have some cake, and then get kicked in the balls again and throw up your cake.

Combine that with the fact that I did it about as stupidly as possible (an example would be finishing the Mysterious Island Arena sidequest with the Guy Made of Bees, like I mentioned earlier), and yeah, it was painful. But soooooooooooo worth it, because I can do a Bad Moon ascension any time I want now.

My chiropractor sent an email reminding me of my appointment....and suggesting a 5K run in September. A 5K Zombie run. Because nothing makes you run faster cross-country than escaping simulated hordes of the hungry dead.

And after the race, there will be a paintball zombie shooting gallery.
This. Sounds. Fun.  :D
