Have received official word now that the guy who had a heart attack on my couch lastnight is going to be ok.

This was not a kind of thing I expected to deal with for... a couple more decades...

have most of you had negative experiences when dealing with Christians?
During my teenage years, there were two old people who I highly respected. One was an agnostic history teacher, the other was a retired Mormon badass (he was a big shot in the South American branches of the Mormon church and had a ton of stories to tell. I call him a badass due to a knife fight anecdote he shared once, and just all around being an awesome old guy). Both were wise in their own way; the history teacher taught me to think, the Mormon taught me I should care about things. Both emphasized not being judgmental. Both I still respect to this day, regardless of their religious affiliations.

Judge people based on who they are, not what groups they belong to.

edit:had a thought... have most of you had negative experiences when dealing with Christians?  I think the answer is yet but I still want to know :/  I wonder why this group is so different and nice than the other groups I hear about.

Yes. I have had very negative experiences when dealing with christians, even when I was one. I've also had very negative experiences when dealing with hindus, satanists, vodun and wiccans. And I have probably not had very negative experiences with jews and muslims only because I've never had the opportunity to spend much time with them. There are also asshole atheists, but they can't really surround their behavior in the bubble wrap of divine faith to pretend its all well and good (they most often surround it with the bubble wrap of libertarian faith).

EDIT: why is this in the happy thread?

I don't see how people can play paintball unless they're wearing something rigid (like a stormtrooper uniform or something). It just looks too painful to me.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Its no worse than playing airsoft with >500fps guns. You bleed more from diving through underbrush than from getting hit.

I worked 24 hours over the last two days at 12 dollars an hour. That's the most I've worked in a week so far from these agencies (I've been trying to get a more stable job but damnit it's hard D:)

My only sads: Not likely to get that kind of work again, it was a tiring 24 hours, and I didn't get picked for the third day and can't pick up another 144 dollars :/

50 bucks bought me 2 shirts, some super-epic soft low-cut socks, a thing of briefs, and an (3rd) epic shirt that's partially sheer in small sections and has some epic imagery in the sheer part that you can barely tell is sheer. Aka, looks cool but doesn't suddenly display my navel/nipples for all the world to see.

Wow that was terribly written. Derp. Its too hot to think.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
