One thing I always wanted to do with the Do You Like Me notes is to fold them up and cut the edges and make a paper snowflake out of it before handing it back.

And not answer the question of course.
I will teach my daughter how to make origami shruken for that express purpose.
That sounds a useful skill. Paper shiruken.
Only if his daughter has a lot of paper to thicken the projectile, is a bad enough dude(tte) to save a president, or is someone named 'The Paper'.

Thank you for all the fish. It was a good run.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Found a way to endrun microsoft's latest BS: Not letting you Grayscale or color shade in MS Paint. They want you to buy more expensive software....

The way that doesn't work is the blue button in the upper lefthand corner ---> Properties ----> Black and white. This just makes it black.

Copy and paste the damn thing in word, right click into the change picture options and "recolor." :P

Or, y'know, grab Paint.NET or GIMP. Neither of those are expensive software.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Edit: NINJA

Why not use a real image editing tool instead of MS Paint?

I mean, isn't that mostly for, like, pixel-art stuff?

Addendum - In fact, they are so not expensive they are free. Or at least GIMP is. Why do I feel I've had this conversation, this exact one, before?

Paint.net is too, yes. Quite nice, especially for the price :P

Go FOSS go! Hurry up and invalidate commercial software so we can destroy an industry, whee~

I should build her a giant paper shuriken. That'd be awesome.

(I only join in on the Paint.NET support because it's just as simple as Paint and doesn't have a ton of pointless stuff you won't use in it for most of my work)

Buck up friendo, we're all on the level here.
I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

I mentioned it first because its what I have installed on here. GIMP could be nice as well, but eh. I don't need three image editors on here.

I've heard its pretty good, just never bothered to try it out myself. It's called .NET, so I assumed it used .NET, and thus wouldn't work on my machine, not being on windows. :P

And I didn't know if it was free.

If its simpler than gimp though, probably a better idea for basic stuff.

Yeah, the .NET part is...a problem. Really could do with a Linux version.

Paint.NET is fantastic for photo touch ups and low-res art, and it doesn't try to be anything more, which is awesome.
